I totes agree. If he's under contract for the entire trilogy, he'll be a ghost with a speaking part. But if not, it might be a situation where they just use stock footage of him at the end, as a ghost, as Rey looks on at him and smiles. It would mirror the ending of ROTJ. You know, like poetry.

I'm very curious as to how they'll handle Carrie's death in Episode 9. It's Hollywood, it's Disney, so I'm expecting something totally tasteless and hilarious. She will indeed most likely be a Force ghost alongside Mark at the end of the movie though.

They'll redo the Yoda death from ROTJ but with Leia and Rey. That's when ghost Luke will show up.

I knew TLJ was gonna be shit but I didn't think the normalfags would notice to the point of where this is now a big social crusade like nu-Geistbusters was. A crusade that's about another low culture toy/snack commercial.

It's surprising how negative the reaction has been. Usually it takes a good 2-3 years for an opinion on a star wars film to turn. That just solidifies in my mind how especially bad this new one is.

Its also that this one makes em feel like retards for defending the also horrible TFA with "just wait until the next movie explains everything and it will be AWESOOOOMEEE.

I did that to some extent at the time, because we just didn't know. Rey seemed to be not explained, but we didn't know whether or not they'd explain her in a satisfying way later. They had 2 sequels to do that.

Now we know, and she's fucking nobody. It was questionable IMO if she was a true mary sue in force awakens because we just didn't know anything about her. Now we know and it's obvious she IS a marey sue.

The difference is I can feel dumb and just admit I was wrong and made the best guess I felt I could at the time. I erred on the side of being too hopeful and now I'm paying for it as I always do whenever I hope for something good. But I stand by my opinion that I find it surprising so many people are turning on this new movie. It's making a shitzillion dollars of course, but I bet interest will drop over time like it did with cisbusters.
