According to the video, it was greenlit by Amazon, then the people in charge of that were mee-tooed and replaced by a woman, and the woman shut it down immediately because men. This Netflix version is starting over from scratch.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 4:14 pmApparently it was originally developed for Amazon, which passed on it because of "toxic masculinity." So you can only imagine how unbearably woke it's going to be on the Soros Network.

Re: Non-cape tv show
Started watching The Wire, it has been waiting on my hard drive for about seven-eight years. Niggers pushing dope, that's a subject that doesn't much interest me and for a long time I didn't feel like watching that shit for 5 seasons, no matter how renowned the show was. Now I'm down seven episodes, seems alright. First of all, jesus what a negro fest! It's almost an blaxploitation. Blacks are not only pushing drugs but also in roles of police detectives, lieutenants, police chiefs.. in activities for which blacks would in no way have sufficient cognitive capacitance in real life, buuuut.. I'm ready to have some suspension of disbelief here. Then there's this black woman detective who's not only stronk, but also a dyke. What is this? 2020 nigflix? No, antediluvian 2002 HBO! Aoooooowww, so proggggressive! I'll get back with this when I've watched the first season.

I finished Seasons 1 and 2 of The Boardwalk Empire. Damn there's so much uninteresting female drama between the gangster scenes, it's annoying. There's at least one nigger hanging and the KKK machine guns a bunch of negros at some point, so there's that.
Re: Non-cape tv show
The Wire was okay. I got through the first four seasons back when watching negroes deal drugs and act like criminals was a novelty that hadn't yet moved into my neighborhood; now I'll get PTSD if I try to watch that shit again. Once the focus isn't on McNulty it gets kind of lame. Omar's funny, but he's not in it much.
Boardwalk Empire was ass. I bailed when the hot Scottish girl Buscemi was banging started losing her shit over getting pregnant or something. A really boring series that seems to be on all the critics' top lists because of its pedigree.

Saw Raised by Wolves. Other than a few moments that reminded me of 70s sci fi it was a slog. People are whining about certain elements repeating from the Alien series (at one point an android gives birth to an alien slug, androids have white blood) but that wouldn't bother me as much if the elements were present in a better show. I'd be fine with Ridley Scott just repeating his greatest hits on tv if it was Alien Ridley and not Prometheus Ridley.

Man, this sounds like it would be derided as a blatant ripoff if Ridley was not attached to this.

Re: Non-cape tv show
It's so weird that Alien has become Ridley Scott's despite him essentially being a journeyman hired to direct the first one. He didn't write it or have anything to do with the sequels but somehow he's now the Alien godfather.

Second season is much better. For a reason that will become obvious when you watch it.veris leta facies wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 7:14 pmStarted watching The Wire, it has been waiting on my hard drive for about seven-eight years.
