I had ideas for JP movies, but now they can't be done because of how they fucked up the canon. In the Jurassic World movies, people are bored with dinosaurs and they're now common and all over the world.

How do you continue a series like that if the characters don't feel the same awe and wonder that the audience is supposed to feel? "Oh, a dinosaur." <shrug>
