I unironically think that Bubblegum Crisis improved on Blade Runner.

That's a very weeb opinion, but I do like bubblegum crisis. Waifus and cyberpunk with decent old art.Liar Revealed wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 1:29 pmI unironically think that Bubblegum Crisis improved on Blade Runner.

Blade Runner is a lesser Ghost in the Shell with not nearly enough waifu action.
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Bad opinion about 2049 you really are RazorfistTig Ol Bitties wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 12:04 amWesley Snipes Runner looks good, sounds good, and has great production design, but it's boring as hell and has one of Ford's worst performances. Still better than 2049, though.

No Time To Die needs to make $900 million to make a profit. Making it the wokest movie ever made will likely help bring in those dollars, I'm sure.
There's also talk of delaying it again until 2022. Lol, just release it on Amazon Prime already, dummies.

I bet most of post-production was spent on bookkeeping, trying to figure out how they can write this bomb off.

Re: Movie Thread
All these subscription services have really shown how little the vast majority of movies and tv shows are worth. Notice how the really top-quality shit never stays on any streaming service for too long? All the criterion stuff moves off damn quick. The shit people actually want to pay for? It doesn't stay up on streaming. Even old movies like Terminator rotate through streaming services. Terminator is old as fuck! But no, it doesn't stay on any one service. All the "cult" shit is still too good for streaming. Escape from NY, Robocop, even fucking Van Damme movies don't stay on streaming. It shows up for a month or two and then it's gone.
Keep in mind that these films used to be considered "B" movies, and are still thought of as cult classics rather than mainstream (Terminator is on the border line.) You'd dig them out of the bargain bin at Wal-Mart not too long ago.
So what does stay on streaming? Complete, total dogshit. It's the old, 1000 channels and nothing good on. Because "good" costs money. Awful tv and movies are dirt-cheap. Whenever a new movie comes to a streaming service, it's a good sign the film is horrible. I swear that most of the tv shows on streaming services are either original series, reality tv or sitcoms.

Well, that's pretty simple. They call it a bomb, they say they lost a ton of money with it and, in return, the taxman doesn't take as much of their money this year. Basically what they do with every film except this time they don't actually have to lieKugelfisch wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 3:24 pmI bet most of post-production was spent on bookkeeping, trying to figure out how they can write this bomb off.
