I'm expecting it to do worse at the box office, and Cuck earned exactly 0 dollars.

What makes me laugh is that 'Karen' looks like Gretchen Whitmer

They should have hired Lupa.

Ah, another entry for the The Cuckold Cinematic Universe. Jonathan Butler hasn't been so happy since they greenlighted Bella and the Bulldogs Season 2.

Probably because the flashbacks are still based on the original novel, while the rest was written by Mario Puzzo specifically for the movies, so they don't feel out of place (ironically, since they're flashbacks).

Ah, that makes sense. The flashbacks just plain fit better with the feel of the first movie.

I think that was the intention tbh, to harken back to 'the good old days' before Michael began running the show.

Changing tone is fine and all, I just wish Michael's own plot was more involving. Puzo and Coppola seriously struggled with the crime drama aspect in both 2 & 3. It's so convoluted and unnecessarily globe-trotting, when they could have just kept the focus on the New York Families.

We also should have had more focus on Hagen. Though I hear he was supposed to be the main antagonist of Godfather 3.

I tried watching the new cut of Godfather 3 but mother of god the opening scene at the stupid birthday party (?) went on forever. Holy shit, tell me again what a genius Coppola is.

That said, Sofia was a babe and still is. If her dad hadn't been famous she would have made a wicked '90s pornstar.
