Nah, that much at least we know: he used to care about the 8-bit and 16-bit consoles. Remember, we have videos of Kid James sperging about the Console Wars and how the Super Nintendo was better than the Sega Genesis and how the SNES was his "first sixteen bit console!" when he got one on Christmas.

That doesn't mean he still cared about those consoles when he first started doing the Angry Nintendo Nerd videos, though.

I'm old enough to be part of the Nintendo Nerd's original audience and watched simply because nobody was doing reviews like that for retro stuff. It lost it's charm by around 2008 because everyone was doing reviews and trying to get internet famous. I don't know who his audience is now. Zoomers who think he's funny?
