The more fighting games I play, the less I like dead or alive.

DOA is dumb button mashing fun but that's it, if you start to take fighting games seriously and give a slight shit about exploring their mechanics you will realise how shallow DOA really is. 3 may have looked nice but the counters having such a fucking gigantic timing window made the game a joke compared to 2 and I haven't bothered with the series since.

They rework counters in every game, and I know why. It's because the counters still haven't reached the depth of skill required of a 3S parry. And like I said before, I'm not even saying 3S is balanced.

I do appreciate DoA5 bringing back Virtua Fighter characters and I will always enjoy playing as Tina or Mila and slamming people around. But the game has very little depth. I think I already said this, but Christie has NO bad matchups in DoA5 and a lot of tourney footage just devolves to a fucking Christie mirror or Christie vs one of the other top 4 characters. People say "the counter system makes the game so balanced anyone can win with anyone" well then why do tourneyfags keep picking Christie and Alpha whatever? That's like saying the dark force system in vampire savior means anyone can win, but then all I see at high level play is sasquatch and q bee.

Unless you go for some weird character-specific thing, any counter system will naturally benefit anyone, be they top- or bottom-tier.

Helena's tits are ridiculously huge in DOA 5 and I loved it. As the women, though, I only enjoyed playing as the chick from Virtua Fighter and the goofy kickboxing chick who works in the diner. (What a fucking weird story that game has.) I usually play as the TKD dudes, so make a busty TKD chick and I'll be happy as a clam.

Seriously, leave the tits alone. And give us a nude mode. Blur out the pink if you need to, but if you can make 1000 and 1 bikini costumes, just do a nude skin already.
