13-37, the "female" activist robot. That's too dumb for Mad TV to think up and yet somebody not only wrote it but managed to get it into an actual Star Wars movie. The brand is kill. Never forgetti, rest in spaghetti.

I'll be seeing Solo in a week when my army service is over and done with. Hope it's alright, I've liked everything in this franchise aside from Episodes I and II.

Any special reason why you disliked those when you like the newer crap?

yeah episode 1 shits all over these disney garbage movies, 2 might be the worst of the 6 real SW movies and even that one is better than any disney SW so that is a very weird stance to have...

Oh wait skipped over the army part, no wonder he has shit taste, he has no brains

So they don't even explain his reappearance and it doesn't even matter to the plot?
Yes. I think normies are going to be totally confused by this scene because my friends were. The robot legs aren't very noticeable-- he has regular humanoid legs instead of the spider legs-- so they were suddenly baffled as to where this takes place in the timeline where Maul could be alive.

It is better than The Last Jedi because it at least gives us some of the things we would expect to see in a Star Wars movie. Han meets Chewie, the Spice Mines of Kessel, the Kessel Run, Han winning the Falcon from Lando. The Last Jedi defiantly spits in your face and refuses to give you ANYTHING you would want to see.

Oh, and there's a scene where Q'ira says she knows "Teras Kasi" after kicking some guy's ass. Is that a reference to that awful Playstation 1 game?

Plot points dont make a movie good or bad, its HOW they do it.

I don't agree with any of those movies being good but that's not the point. I'd like to know what made them better in your opinion.

Teras Kasi is the kung-fu of Star Wars. Darth Maul knew it, I believe.

And why in hell would you like TLJ but not TPM? That's just weird. With some tighter editing TPM is a decent movie. It has the pod race, duel of the fates, teenage Natalie Portman, and it's not digital.

I like TLJ because of its focus on the characters of Kylo, Luke and Rey and its selfaware narrative. Yoda's comeback kicked ass. I even found Serkis likable as Snoke though he died too soon.

TPM has cold fish in comparison. It may be much more creative plotwise, but aside from a decent performance by Neeson, there's not much to get invested in.
Point is, though the sequels tend to waste their leads, I still find them charismatic and enjoyable enough to merit my attention. I want to know what happens to them next.
