He sure loves throwing away free popularity. Monster Hunter World, DBFZ, Kingdom Come and Dissidia. Any one of them could have boosted his numbers. They're all reasonably popular games, but MHW is the big one in the room (along with DBFZ) that he's very obviously ducking to his own loss.

Clearly, the problem isn't Phil, it's the fact that no corporation is willing to make AAA game that would perfectly fit his needs. Something that would be piss easy, something where he would always win against people, and something that would kept his reptile brain occupied all the time with shitty redneck jokes and tits.

What else he likes? Random inappropriate violence? Torturing small animals? Game that basically plays itself, because Phil doesn't like tutorials of any kind, but at the same time gives him the impression that he is under control?

Dood, if that was on the market, he totally would be playing that. But because there are no good games coming out, his hands are tied! He can't keep blocking the lowering number of subs and patrons, twitch and patreon are out of sync... there is nothing he can do.

Monhun beta must've fucking bodied Phil for him to hate it this much. I love SOTC, but we all know the reason he's playing it is because it's easy. Also DSP >implying there is no strategy in Monhun of all fucking games.

I can only imagine it went a bit like my very first venture into MonHun1, back over a decade ago when I was a lot more immature and impatient:

- getting gangbanged by the local "-prey" equivalent
- getting anally raped by the local Kut-Ku equivalent
- bitching about how you have no time to heal
- bitching about how the iconic Greatsword is "too slow and shitty"

Older monhun games were also much harder. The hitboxes were legendarily jank and the monsters had no stamina meter or any of that new bullshit to make them easier. If Tigrex felt like doing 12 lunge dashes in a row without pause, he could do it and fuck you if you disagree. If you try to punish him, you'll take 80% of your health in damage.
