I think the bringing balanced to the force is that either the force was unbalanced by either the Light being in dominance for so long or that the jedi were corrupt so they need to face hardship to become pure again.

They can't really learn from any hardhips if said hardships involve them getting murderized.

The only ones who migth've learned a lesson or two spent the rest of their lifes in bumfuck nowhere.

And the whole concept of balance is stupid when applied to what is basically a stripped-down D&D alignment system. The whole "Evil" side of the axis is not really worthy of protection.

The problem with the prequels is that they forced a prophecy into an already established franchise. Not even for any good reasons, 'cause you can remove any line mentioning "balance to the Force" or "Chosen One", and nothing would change aside from making the prequels slightly less shit.

The only thing special about Anakin was his ability to podrace because the Force gave him quicker reflexes, explaining his ability to pilot. He could fix shit because he was a slave who fixed shit for a junker. He wasn't born magically able to fix shit like Rey. As for his "raw power", it meant very little. In AOTC Obi-Wan even IRL shitposts him about how he would be as great as Yoda if he ever bothered to stop fapping to Padme and actually practice. He wasn't born a master duelist like Rey.

I agree with the post above and even if he had all kinds of crazy abilities, at least there wouldve been an explaination as to why that is. Him being created by the force and having an never before seen amount of midichlorians, whether you think thats a dumb explaination/plotline or not, is an explaination.
