Only if you exclude the EU, that suff was often worse than the prequels and i can't speak for the new EU and as shit as the prequels were at least they some scenes where stuff happened unlike the holiday special.

Oh yeah, the Holiday Special. Never saw it, actually, I'm probably the last person on Earth who hasn't. I never messed with the EU either as I've just ever seen the movies. I don't watch the new stuff like Rebels either. To me, Star Wars was just the 3 movies from the 70's and 80's. I saw the prequels and they were completely tone-deaf affairs. I wish like hell I could unsee them.

How can you not like stories where the Emperor clones himself at least twice, Luke learns a "good" version of Force Lightning, and then the entire galaxy gets invaded by BDSM freaks who are immune to the Force (even though it then turned out their leader caste controlled them with the Force. Whoops.)?
