A couple years ago, my doctor retired. So I decided to switch to a doctor's office closer to where I live. My new doctor is a young Hispanic guy. He seems OK and I have no complaints.

But on the wall right next to the reception desk they have a giant Pride flag displayed. And it's the latest updated wokest one.


It really creeps me out. This is supposed to be a Catholic organization.

Man, nothing makes you feel better than, one day before your work vacation, being called at 8PM to look into some dumb problem, then while you're looking at it, immediately having the boss sending an audio berating everyone involved in the project. Really makes me want to work really hard tomorrow and totally not go to the doctor to get the day off.

But I guess I should be understanding; after all, my boss is a raging Leftist and the party he helped put in charge is causing the economy to collapse, which is probably costing him a lot of contracts and a lot of money right now. It's not the first time it happens; back in 2016, same shit happened before a holiday, and the reason was he was bleeding money due to the economic crisis.

I read stories about criminals like Bryan Kohberger getting lighter sentences than they deserved, and in the comments section there's always a bunch of cope about how the criminal is going to murdered or raped by his fellow inmates.

I just wonder who these people are? Normies? Libs? Conservatives? I always tell them that this is statistically unlikely, that prison staff is there to prevent that from happening. Then they get pissed off and downvote me into oblivion.

Am I wrong? The only time I can recall a scumbag getting killed in prison was Dahmer. I don't think cope posts are helpful. The people should face reality and be outraged at plea deals for murderers. But they'd rather cope post online than do something about it.

I almost never call into work, but i've had to twice in one week; once for a stomach bug, which has now transitioned into a head cold.

Getting doctors notes and all that good stuff, a little nervous about my job security. NE has At-Will employment.

I'd argue inevitably I'd have gotten sent home. But yeah, this is going to be a problem, lots of September shift pickups.
