So dip, or chewing tobacco that is very fine cut, isn't legal to buy in Germany. Basically the argument is that since it's not actually chewed on it isn't chewing tobacco.

However, if one was to buy it somewhere not Germany, you'd be allowed to own, use and even import it.
So I bought some dip from the Czech Republic and since it's within the EU the parcel doesn't even get checked.

Got myself a couple of tins of Stoker's Straight and Wintergreen. That stuff is very nice! I can't get anything else because it seems to be all sold out and I don't have a US based nearby but I'm very happy about the Stocker's.

I'm trying to quit vaping now after having quit smoking for a good while and Ive been doing good on that for a few days.

The "snus" we can get here is alright from a nicotine standpoint but I needed something more of an experience and dip hits the spot.

You've got to be a bit more concrete here. Snuff can also means very fine cut chewing tobacco, confusingly enough.

But if you're talking about the kind you sniff through the nose, yes I do.
For European stuff I vastly preferred Schmalzler. They aren't as dry and irritating. But the best stuff I ever got was called Taxi from South Africa.
It seems like it either doesn't exist anymore or is unavailable here but it was super popular among us tobacco nerds.

It came in three versions. A menthol one in a white tin with a green lid, a regular in a blue tin with a yellow lid and a strong version with a red tin and also a yellow lid.
That stuff had a good aroma, barely made you sneeze and even the regular was so strong I'd get dizzy as a pack-a-day filterless smoker back then. The red strong version would sit you on your ass. Totally unheard off for snuff.

Edit: Seems like it's available again. The menthol now has other colours.
I also spotted Gwayi Babaton and remembered it. Aroma of Latakia pipe tobacco is what it's barn smell comes closest to. I didn't like that one too much. Also from SA.

Exactly, the sniffing snuff. I mainly remember my great uncle doing Pöschl's Gletscherprise, but it always struck me as plebeian, like turning to Tropenschatz for cigars. I'll ask my cigar dealer for the SA stuff.
