The funny part is that this is what CuckTurdginson is talking about. The anti-woke grifters like Geeks and Gamers and Yellow Flash were sperging out about that article's headline without reading it. I wouldn't be surprised if Jon Del Arroz did as well. WDW Pro and Midnight's Edge both read the original article and pointed out he didn't say that stuff and it was just the hack reporter adding crap about migrants and Orange Man Bad into the article even though it was irrelevant to the questions and answers in the article. They said that the worst thing he said in the article was during a question about how red states would view the movie. He said that people are going to view the movie differently if in a blue state compared to a red state which is fine but he goes overboard with if any can't handle that to fuck off. But overall he never pushed it being woke. Honestly, Gunn has done a good job not falling into the media traps here. His brother not so much. Go ahead and roast his ass.

Been watching reviews of Ironheart out of sheer boredom. The only positive thing I can say is that it is a far more accurate portrayal of niggers than the Wakanda movies. The "hero" steals, kills, and makes a deal with the devil as icing on the cake. Bravo Disney/Marvel.

What makes this hilarious is that they didn't change anything from the comics. This is her and that's why people hated her and Marvel just can't understand why. At least with Kebab Khan, they had the wherewithal to realize she sucked and they tried to change her for the MCU even though it was unsuccessful.

The movie itself is about Lex Luthor decoding the other half of Superman's message from his parents, which is busted up.

TL;DR Toriyama's been turning Goku's origin story into Superman's, so Gunn responded by turning Superman's origin story into Goku's. He was sent there to kill everybody. I guess General Zod is going to call him Kakarot when he shows up in a sequel.

This leads to Lex getting the ok from the government to deal with Superman, so he locks Superman in a pocket universe. Lex has made a deal with Israel to get half of Palestine for himself, and he wanted to bait Superman so he could kill him too.

The 'Justice League' is pretty shoehorned. The only ones that impact the plot are Mr. Terrific and Metamorpho - the other two, Green Lantern and Hawkgirl; could have been written out and likely tightened the plot. Kind of feels like James Gunn getting away with what got Zack Snyder ripped to shreds.

I also don't like that they didn't get a new theme; Man of Steel's main theme is one of the redeeming qualities of that movie. Supergirl cameos at the end, and they save the shitty joke for the post credits. I've never liked that. You've committed to a gimmick, and wasted it. Instead of utilizing said gimmick; you overstuffed your movie.

The upside is being overstuffed also means there's always something happening in the movie, which must have been what Gunn was going for; and I like most of the performances. There's no one in A tier, except for the actress that plays Lois, who I would not mind sticking my penis into - but there's no one in C tier really. David Coronswet is a solid B+ in the role. He's very wholesome and genuinely innocent, like the one time in the movie he curses he's mad about it.

I don't know, its a pretty likable movie; just a one and done. The Supergirl movie is directed by the cuck who did Cruella; and is possibly much worse.

Even if Superman 25's not great, it got me reading classic Superman stories, which 20 years of this capeshit nonsense has never done for me. Made me respect the more streamlined 1978 movie, too. So those are positives.

So, basically, everything I've seen and read makes this movie sound like a complete mess, but is at least somewhat entertaining. It sucks because I like most of what James Gunn has done, especially his movie Super from 15 years ago. I'm kind of biased though, because there's a character who looks almost exactly like Spoony in Super who gets a pipe wrench to the face. I laughed quite a bit of that part.

Apparently there was a good half hour cut out of Superman and I would be interested in seeing a director's cut.

The first Guardians of the Gaylaxy is the best Star Wars sequel.

2 isn't abysmal, but it's waaaay too reddit.

3 is less reddit, and probably closer to the 1st; but the ending feels rushed.

The 2021 Suicide Squad is growing on me with hindsight.

This is inferior to that, but better than both the GotG sequels.
