And well, I don’t really like doing the whole shady website or torrent thing anymore. Maybe Crunchyroll does suck but I did that stuff back in the day because I had to Crunchyroll gives me a way where I don’t have to do that shit anymore even if they suck, lots of ass.

So when the streaming services fail me and I had to buy overpriced DVDs, it kind of sucks too

JDF/Tommy was always my least favorite ranger. He was a massive dork with evil (his villain laugh dub was terrible) and he always got front and center in roles and quickly overtook things as team leader despite being a sixth ranger, which is a far different role in Sentai. JYB/Adam I find to be far more relatable, and he had some of the better focused on him episodes in my opinion.

Also is this blasphemy but I find Cat to be the superior Pink? I’m a sucker for aussie women so that’s probably part of it.

I agree 100% on both statements, Amy Jo Johnson was considered hot jerk off material for the kids who grew up with her, but she offered nothing until she was about to leave the show, she was fucking insufferable and didn't want to put her life on hold to be a superhero basically. For Tommy's character, the acting was so bad but kids demanded he come back because they thought the green ranger was cool, but man they should have had him take some real acting classes because JDF just can't fucking act to save his life. People bitch about Justin being the reason that Turbo sucked, but in my opinion the show got better when JDF was gone and you had a likeable cast like TJ, Ashley, and Cassie (fuck Carlos, should have kept JYB because Carlos sucks as a character and would much rather he let JYB replace him for In Space like they teased).

I grew up with reruns of these seasons while Lost Galaxy and Lightspeed aired and those to me are my favorite seasons because they strayed far from the cheesy formula, fighting actual demons while being firefighters, paramedics, and pilots just seems more entertaining than going to school and fighting crime.

Also, it's pretty funny that anime's more popular than ever, but none of the Abridged cunts can make their way into the dub industry, despite having years of experience.

And of course animu is more popular than ever. Now I admit there's a lot of terrible animu out there, but what the fuck would the alternatives be?
Western animation? Most of that looks like absolute shit these days and is exclusively written by and for genderspecial man-/woman-/personchildren with too many chromosomes.
Live-action series? The Western offerings for that have been incompetent and overly "political" trash for years now. What was the last universally liked one? 2022's season of Stranger Things? And of course there's the Japanese and Korean stuff, but Asians don't have souls

Agreed, the series got a lot better when they went away from high school kids and to actual adults. Lost Galaxy was the final season for me but I could probably go back and watch it again.
