He already had to beg for help because of the low views. Unfortunately it worked since his Patreon increased by $600 because of his e-begging. Anyway in current news, Renegade Cut got his Bluesky account suspended. No clue how that happened. Not the first time a social media account of his got suspended considering that happened to his Twitter account.`https://bsky.app/profile/renegadecut.bsky.social

He'll be begging again, and 1700 bucks isn't enough to cover rent in Boston. He must have zero savings and living super cheaply to even afford this.

Suede once again showing how delusional he is with skeets like this
Nothing shows how the other producers wanted to try to run a business like Lindsay and co dividing the site over Gamergate and Lupa causing Spoony to leave the site because of her giving him shit for a joke he did a month earlier. https://bsky.app/profile/suede.bsky.soc ... tymdquak2iI can handle a lot of silly takes on CA - it was a long time ago and the details can get muddy - but I will never put up with the narrative that the Walkers were "Just trying to run a business and the other producers wanted it to be a fun-time happy vibes club".
It was THE EXACT OPPOSITE

Which is why the fun-happy times Walkers are still running their not-a-business while the others all became internet hobos.

Remember that whole “We’ve moved on and other people keep bringing it up” that? Yeah no.

It's okay when they do it.

Yeah now they're talking what they would do with Channel Awesome if they bought it. https://bsky.app/profile/diamandahagan. ... zamnsev22rOld Black Man wrote: ↑Tue Jul 01, 2025 10:20 amRemember that whole “We’ve moved on and other people keep bringing it up” that? Yeah no.
jettison current management, let them keep handling themselves like always on whatever they want, doesn't mater anymore, and invite old content creators back to create a better ecosystem with actual communication.
Let Doge go keep being Doge somewhere, I don't care, doesn't matter to me. Let the community members that actually cared about each other actually put in the work to help each other.
A while back
@linkara.bsky.social
and some others spitballed the idea of a new site with that ethos. I even joined in and did some website and ident mockups! It petered out due to (I think) being freshly burnt out by the idea and congregate sites not doing so well at the time, but who knows?
And a lot of those mock-ups and whatnot were also made when we were still ON CA and there was still a sense of "Maybe we can turn things around...?"
I've done some work since then on what a site could be, its hierarchy, etc.
Oh pretty much everyone else has rejected the name I proposed for it. XD
It's good to have that sense of community, but then you also get stuff like Normal Boots where it was basically "Whoops! 80% scumbags!" which can be embarrassing in retrospect
There's also juggling the expectation of regular videos without forcing them into burnout. CA forced us to do 2 a month
Honestly, that sort of thing makes me feel like quotas are just kinda bullshit. May as well not even have 'em.
Some operator somewhere DOES need to be able to take the responsibility of vetting people, communicating to others (especially internally) why we wouldn't work with somebody, etc.
At the very least - multiple people would be involved. Less of a single leader and more a group that can vote, hear concerns and outright problems that others might not be aware of, etc.
There needs to be a "constitution" for people to refer to as well so they know that's where the group stands. Like "if you hang with active transphobes, either leave or be shown the door. Collabs with controversial figures will be voted on but we may get it wrong." Etc

If they could create and run their own site they would have, this is like the Wakanda delusion.
