Sleepy Cast is still amusing but it's not as current anymore. Still a good source for Zack sperging out. He's super based and has always been so. Truly our guy.

I've been wondering if there are any old (animated) cartoons that are actually racist? Like purposefully made to hurt black people and make them look bad?
Everything I've seen is either "somewhat insensitive stereotypes" or just reflective of the black culture of the time.

Afaik it's mostly short cuts of some cartoon character getting blackface because something exploded in their face.
I guess the most egregious case are those ravens from Dumbo, who are voiced by white people pretending to be black people.

That's cringey, but I'd file that under "insensitive stereotypes". My grandmother lived during those times and she said people found those "pickaninny" characters adorable.

And they would be the second type I mentioned, simply being reflective of the black culture of the period. Much ado is made about the main crow being voiced by a white guy, but all the others were voiced by a black gospel group.
The personalities and mannerisms of the Crows — specifically their fast-paced, back and fourth dialogue—were inspired by the backchat found in the band records of African-Americans artists of the time, such as Cab Calloway and Louis Armstrong.

Modern audiences would probably complain that tracing Cab's sick moves for a ghost is whitewashing.

Also I've been to an anime con recently and fuck Hazbin Hotel and its entire fandom.
I thought the previous years had annoying karaoke moments where Disneyfags kept demanding the same 1-2 Frozen songs over and over again, but at least those songs weren't that annoying.
This year there was no Frozen. Only Hazbin Hotel. The artstyle is already shit, but of course the lyrics also keep the show's tryhard edgy attitude by making everything about fucking and/or being fucked.
I'm usually not one to go "Would someone think of the children?!", but there were literal children in the room, just minutes before some Hazbin song about being a literal cum dumpster (and loving it in a dubious consent kind of way)

Cartoons today are shit.
Movie studios like MGM don’t get enough flak for closing their animation divisions. They could have transitioned to either making feature films, like Disney, or making tv shows, which is what William Hanna and Joseph Barbera tried to convince MGM to do.

Would've inevitably led to more wokeshit down the line regardless.
