Disney Forced To Reveal Unequal Pay On Star Wars Show ‘The Acolyte'

Documents filed by Disney have revealed that its latest Star Wars spinoff series The Acolyte isn't actually a force for equality despite famously featuring a female-centric cast.

According to the filings, in early April last year, when production of the streaming series was still in full swing, just 30% of the 695 employees were female and across the entire workforce, women's average hourly pay was 19.4% lower than men’s.

Sure they also have Trinity, but they only had to pay her for like 10 minutes tops. Squid Game Guy on the other hand is in every single episode.

Also I’m sure the excuse for Obi Wan never killing Vader is “Well Luke wouldn’t reach his full potential and redeem Vader” but considering Luke was condemned to a post glory fate worse than Gohan does it even matter? Kenobi could have saved lives if he’d finished off Vader in either of their fights.

Obi Wan and Vader fighting before Episode 4 is the most stupid kind of fanservice. We know neither of them will die in an earlier duel, so the writers have to come up with bullshit reasons why no one died.
The two should've never met again between Episodes 3 and 4.

I assume he was mocking the force because he’s apart of the empire that wiped them out. He represents that arrogance of the Empire that they’re technology is most powerful thing in the galaxy when in reality it’s the force.

Episode 5 of The Acolyte. Those bitching about the niggers in the show might like the lightsaber duel in here, because everyone in the cast except the main girls and Squid Game Guy get brutally fucking murdered. Maybe there'll be a compilation or something.

The gist is evil twin's informant buddy is the secret sith and he was spying on her the whole time. She was about to sell him out - so he kills all the Jedi. He probably killed the force witches too. I'll take a second and shit on the show - for a show that seems focused on rehabilitating the prequels - our main villain defeating everyone comfortably (Squid Game guy is the only one who seems like he's giving this guy a challenge) and fucking murdering damn near all of them makes the fight in Episode 3 where Anakin turns look even dumber - despite one of the seemingly main goals of The Acolyte being to rehabilitate the prequels even a little bit so Jizzney can milk that era more.

Because Palpatine - who we previously saw as someone who could torture Luke with his mind - and who I think works really well in Return of the Jedi - is definitely on the backfoot against Sam Jackson. And I know the fuckin EU establishes Mace Windu as this wunderkind - but in the context of the movies, he seems mid level. Not quite on par with Yoda, but good.

I suppose it could be argued he was trying to force Anakin to turn, but George fucked up the presentation of that - on top of which Anakin only shows up at the very end. So for 60 percent of that duel Palpy is just straightup getting his ass kicked.

It's set in a badly lit forest set so you can't see too much of the choreography. Probably for the best 'cause there's at least one Jedi Knight who keeps missing the Sith multiple times for no reason.
The fight also highlights that the Jedi in this series are too stupid to properly fight. Back in the earlier episodes they actively refused to use their lightsaber against the evil twin. Not for any sort of logical reason, but because the evil twin's shtick of attacking Jedi unarmed only works if the Jedi don't use their most iconic weapon.
Now they're vastly outnumbering some Sith guy, and they basically run up to him to get killed, and forget that they also have Force powers.
And then the Padawan puts up more of a fight against him because she's more important to the plot than the Redshirt Brigade.

Also normies are confused af because the guy's helmet is apparently made up of Cortosis (which to my knowledge has never even been hinted up as existing in any form of live-action canon), which allows him to headbutt lightsabers.

Maybe she should've kept the reasoning for after she successfully subdued/incapacitated the literal assassin who was actively trying to kill her and posed a threat to everyone in the bar.
Maybe the Jedi of this era just roll that way. The Padawan also went full "You are under arrest" on the Evil Twin before she was actually handcuffed.
