When CA first started, a CA head got fired each year. In 2009, Aussie got it, then Mike Ellis in 2010, then Bhargav in 2011. Apparently Bhargav left willingly, but I'm sure Michaud was eager to get more money for himself since the site ran well enough even after firing Holly Brownbag in 2013.

Dan Rizzo aka ThatAussieGuy, he was in the 1st anniversary Brawl, the one before Kickassia. Michaud used him as something of a scout for picking up talent since he did have hiring powers and liked making "you're fired" jokes to the smaller fish. Linkara in particular was picked up thanks to him since the Mikes (Michaud and Ellis) were split on either him or Confused Matthew. Well, shortly after the Brawl, he got kicked off the site and the going rumor was during filming the Brawl, he made a lot of "Lindsay is a whore" jokes, when everyone knew was sleeping with Bhargav at the time. Lindsay and Dan never got along and push came to shove, they stuck by Lindsay and memory-holed Aussie with everyone at TGWTG refusing to say what happened to him.
