That's fine and all. Despite me calling Romero a commifag, his trilogy is pretty damn good.
Zombi 2 is still better.

I don’t know why anyone needs a zombie movie beyond Romeros Dead trilogy - although I did like Zombieland (and the sequel, actually).
Because Zombi 2 is better than what ever commiefag Romero cobbled together.
I like the independent spirit of all three movies. Land is terrible - yes, but there’s sort of a blue collar charm to the craft of the original Night and Dawn - and the gore FX on Day are magnificent stuff - that bummer ending hits hard.
Day is my favorite. No contest that I've seen Day more than the other two. The film is bleak even by the standards of other zamboni movies, and I love it. All the suvivors are kinda fucked up, 'cause they've already seen the rest of humanity dying out. They're sitting around waiting for something, they don't know what. Hoping for a happy ending that won't come.

I enjoy pressure cooker types of films. Shit like Reservoir Dogs, where everything goes wrong and people have to try to salvage the situation or go full scorched earth on the ashes.

Though the less said about the sequels, the better.

I've just finished watching the entire series of Agatha Christie's Poirot. Splendid show, although I was a bit disappointed by the change in producers in season 9. There was a dramatic shift in tone, and it became more about exploring Poirot's melancholy in old age and his Catholicism. It's not badly done, but just not what I originally came for. I love the light-hearted character interplay between him and Hastings in the earlier seasons.

That being said, the finale is a masterpiece. Poirot committing a murder! Genius.

Well, it kinda had to end like that - that's how his last book goes. I didn't finish the series, but I watched a few seasons and it's a very endearing show. And I think it's still available on Youtube, last time I checked (I kinda stopped because the next episode on the playlist is about a goddamn feminist and muh girl power - I just can't stomach it, but I also don't want to just skip it).

EDIT: It still is, but you can't watch it if you are a filthy Burger or is using a VPN to play one on the internet: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... d7bRX1naS-

Oh, that. Yeah, I guess that was a bit cringy. To be fair, the original short story was much worse.

Still, at least it has Hastings, miss Lemon and Japp.

Any sufficiently long Brit show will eventually be about feminisim.
