Apparently it's a thing. But seeing how this was announced in March and Wikipedia still doesn't have more than a single line to say about this, I wouldn't put my hopes up.

Why would you even try to woke-ify the X-Files? The whole alien invasion metaplot has problematic parallels to illegal immigration, and FBI agents are basically some kind of cop and therefore irredeemably evil.

FBI are worse than cops. A cop might be corrupt, but most of them won't be looking at kiddie porn 8 hours a day for fun, or hanging out on imageboards trying to convince others to go commit federal crimes/rape children. That's literally what feds fucking do. Feds are complete scum.
