No, you haven't. The only things that were said were, and I quote 'It went from good to fucking terrible' and 'the writers had no clue where they are going themselves'. Which is just another way of saying that you think it's shit. There's no elaboration going on here.

But I'm happy to start things off.

*The music was 10/10 in every scene, every year.
*The characterisation of Jack, Locke, Ben, Desmond, Sawyer, Juliet, Hurley amongst others. Perfection.
*The cinematography looks fucking gorgeous. It was shot on location in Hawaii, on film, giving it a timeless cinematic look.
*You have multiple different genres to pick from. The survivalism of seasons 1-3, the sci-fi of seasons 4-5, the religious angle of season 6. It kept itself fresh.
*I love how in-depth the Island's history is. All these ruins and abandoned stations, all the stuff with the DHARMA Initiative, the 1950s US Army presence (which is focused on in season 5, but hinted at as far back as season 2). But none of it is given fat paragraphs of exposition. You get to experience it, draw your own conclusions. Hell, the Egyptian stuff in particular is never even addressed in dialogue why it's there. A lot of shit has happened on the Island, and much of it long before any of the main characters arrived.
*I love the development of the Locke/Jack rivalry, the way Boone's death turns them on each other and makes them obsessed with proving the other wrong out of spite, because they both feel guilty.

How convenient for you to leave out my other comment because me saying "mystery box" triggered you.

A show is generally about something. LOST is all about the mystery. Why did they crash there? Is it dumb luck or fate? That mystery is resolved. It's a really terrible ending.

I can't un-know what I know. Not a single cliffhanger works anymore. That gives me too much time to ponder how flat and void of plot the show is.
