Wrong. The equivalent to Mexican labour are Romanians, Bulgarians, Lithuanians and Ukrainians.
Turks haven't been cheap labour since the 90s and Poles not since the 2010s.

Though Turks still get the main spotlight whenever some documentary / politician honors the Gastarbeiter. Bonus points if you can somehow work in Current Year refugees into it.

That's because the project was a success. A bit sad when all the successful foreign labour projects are from the 70s and everything since has been a catastrophic failure.
