Fair warning, though: Unlike her main concerts (Magical Mirai) the Miku Expos have a high concentration of English songs. The one I've linked her is the most tolerable, for better or worse.

That reminds me, I’ve been replaying the Azure Striker/Armed Blue Gunvolt games and wondered if you liked them Voice, since they’re basically Mega Man X with Vocaloids.

The Gunvolt idorus have some excellent designs (especially Lola with her delicious Neptunia-style getup), but the songs aren't actually doing it for me. Most of it basically boils down "Generic J-Pop" that's not particularly memorable, except for this slightly more exotic one from the 3rd game.


And that's not me shitting on 3DPD because I'm such a vocaweeb. They songstresses they got for this series just aren't on the same tier as a Megumi Hayashibara.

More sperging about the actual gameplayShow

Gunvolt is probably your best fix if you craving more X/Zero-style gameplay instead of Capcom's eternal nostalgia milking of klessik Mega Man.
There are some caveats, however:

• Gunvolt himself is strangely enough the least interesting character to play in the franchise. I'd say the real real star is Copen (think X with homing shots and a jetpack), which is probably why he got 2 spin-offs.
• The games' insistence on having an auto-dodge feature is weird. It mostly teaches bad habits that will bite you in the ass once you run into the obligatory bosses whose attacks can't be auto-dodged
• The first game is naturally a bit rough around the edges, with a weird fetch quest required to get an ending other than "lol u ded"
• The third game has a weird af ending, and the additional story update did fuckall to clear things up

A trailer for the Ultraman Netfix movie thing. Unlike most 3D anime there it's animated by Industrial Light & Magic, so it actually has frames per second in the double digits for once.


Nice that this is still set in Japan. Reduces the risk of a black Ultra.
Note sure about the kaiju designs. Apparently this generic fantasy dragon is supposed to be Melba:


Note sure why you'd adapt a kaiju from Ultraman Tiga when your Ultra is directly based on the original Ultraman (complete with the original sound effects). This better involve Alien Baltan at some point.
