I've got a toothache and I think there's another root canal treatment in it for me. No idea yet when I'll get an appointment, because Tuesday is a holiday (German unification day), so I'll just have to deal with it for now.
Absinthe is a really nice painkiller, let me tell ya. Not just from the alcohol but also the numbing effect from the anise. You actually can't taste anything when you're indulging in offerings to the green fairy because your tongue gets numb and tingly.

Still, every once in a while the pain gets through and it's not like I can stay buzzed all day anyway.

I'll go to the same guy as last time. Zero pain after the procedure.

I had the nerve scraped out, loads of anti-biotics injected and it provisorically plastered shut. The actual procedure is next Thursday but so far I'm pain free.
I still felt odd yesterday. Likely because I've been on painkillers (not the cocktail for once) and Absinthe for the days before that.

Today was fine.

Better too easy than the reverse. When I had my root canal procedure corrected, I felt better almost instantly. It was like somebody switched off the constant nerve pain I'd been living with.
