My interest in Last of Us dwindled after a few episodes - (and season 2 is gonna be worse lmao) - I like The Boys but the new seasons been delayed, and Ozark and Better Call Saul are over. Yes, I enjoyed Andor - but that’s expected to end after it’s Season Two - which has *also* been delayed. Even then, the possibility that Jizzney finds a way to say Cassian Andor survived getting nuked in Rogue One remains realistic.
I think the golden age of television has passed. Now television has hypertension.

Some of the most viral (and best) things to come out in the streaming era have been documentaries that cost a tiny fraction of mega-budget projects that sink like a stone.

Everybody was talking about "Making a Murderer" and "Tiger King" when they came out. Nobody cares about "Citadel".

Streaming services are following the Cannon Films model. Blow a bunch of money on piles of movies that go nowhere, make their version of "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace" (known IP revival that no one cares about, ex. "Willow"), work their way toward bankruptcy.

They should be studying Roger Corman who had making sensational, low-budget movies that turned a reliable profit down to a science.
