I pirated the new episode of Futurama. Jewlu's never getting a cent out of me. They really couldn't help themselves with the constant reminding that the show's been revived so many times. I didn't even give a shit about the episode, really. The funnier part is how John DiMaggio cucked out after Hulu told him they weren't going to give him more money and they'd recast Bender. Variety still gave him a fluff piece and he potrays himself as this poor, honest actor going up against the big mean studios. He did get top billing over Billy West, which is fucking absurd. West is half the main cast, and John's other characters you can all tell it's John.

Glad I'm not the only one that's thought this. Everyone else I see says it's a funny episode, but damn near every "joke" is we got cancelled a bunch of times/we're on streaming/we've been cancelled for ten years.
Billy West is approaching his eighties and he's still carrying the show.

You'd think all the shitty reboots (besides the one Futurama already has) out there and franchises that ran too long would make people appreciative of Futurama fucking off when it did.
In an age oversaturated with consumer entertainment four seasons is nice and concise. That's valuable in the current year if media is to be valued at all.
