I bet this limit exists for bots. And @TheSpoonyOne.
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

It's not a nothingburger if it requires me to log in to read tweets.RAPEMAN wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2023 2:42 pmIf you hit your cap, you have a serious fucking problem. The Tweet count for a certified user is several thousand and regular a few hundred or more. This was such a nothing burger.Le Redditeur wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2023 2:09 pmIsn't Twitter pretty much dead at this point? With Elon's ridiculous decision to close it for non-logged users and to ratio limit everybody who is logged.
Agreed. It's extremely funny that he burned 45 billion dollars just to run it into the ground, but hey, it's not like this is the first time it happens - remember when Yahoo paid a few billion for Tumblr, just to completely destroy it a few months later?Rapeculture wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2023 2:16 pmTwitter being dead/dying is a good thing, so I can't hate on Elon for that decision. I'll miss my masochistic hobby of cringing at shit takes from INs though.

Don't you need a phone number as well? Unless a Google voice number counts

I'm not entirely sure. I think you just need the number associated with your Google account.

Elon is just an idiot for poor impulse control and too much money on hand.Le Redditeur wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2023 2:55 pmAgreed. The new paypig rules sound pretty sensible.
If Elong is telling the truth then lots of bots are ripping tweets and wasting his bandwidth.
With a cap he can stop this and then profit from Twitter addicts.

The bot problem is kinda self-inflicted since he cut access to the Twitter API (API requests should cost a small fraction of the bandwidth compared to a normal HTTPS page request).

I don't want to log in to read tweets from twats. This is gay. I don't care about a cap for reading or posting because I don't use the website enough for either. But I do like to look at cringe when normalfags post it. Or get news from other parts of the world as it happens, without being filtered by (((CNN.)))
