Well, it's still Arrowverse...
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

At least Melissa Benoist hasn’t quite hit the wall yet.

Don't forget the greatest moment in Arrowverse history.

Re: Capeshit thread (comics and movies)
Every capeshit movie looks the same. I think what's often called "superhero fatigue" is just fatigue with how these things are made. CGI galore. Buildings explode. People who can't be hurt get thrown through brick walls. The computer nerd department animates every action scene with no input from the director. None of these things are a director's vision at all. They're made by committee. They're like soap operas, but on a mega-budget. They're not cinema. Martin Scorsese is right.
I think you can only insult people so much by pushing the same shit on them in 2023 until they just give up, won't take the trouble to go out, and will wait until the movie goes to streaming. That takes about a month these days, especially if a movie dies in theaters.

Also, I thought that "The Flash" was going to be big because of Michael Keaton.
That turned out to be one of those moments where I realize that I'm old now.
Most people under 30, maybe even 35, don't give a fuck about Michael Keaton coming back as Batman, now that I think about it. Why would they?

Capeshit is like if every shounenshit animu ever looked like Dragonball. Artstyle and all.
How popular do you think it would be? Even the little boys it's aimed at would tire of it.
Yet here you have idiots in their mid 30s and 40s that went and watched capeshit that looks identical for over a decade in the cinema.
Two bombs fucked the nips. Meanwhile well over 50 nukes exploded in the US, almost all close to or in Commiefornia. Coincidence? I think not.

They don't have the cognitive function to even be afraid of trying something new.
To them there isn't a world outside of capeshit. I don't just mean in the realm of consumer entertainment. I mean life.

At least the Nipponese know how to produce media containing waifus that are easy on the eye.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2023 10:48 pmTwo bombs fucked the nips. Meanwhile well over 50 nukes exploded in the US, almost all close to or in Commiefornia. Coincidence? I think not.

They are.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2023 10:48 pmCapeshit is like if every shounenshit animu ever looked like Dragonball.
Every shounenshit after DBZ has been DBZ again, with a superficial change like "let's make it about pirates/ninjas/swords/capeshit".
People could argue that One Punch Man is different, but it's really DBZ with capeshit, if no one could ever stand a chance against Gokeu.
What's the latest shounenshit about?
Let's have Saitama go to Hogwarts, and the faggot mages underestimate him because he can't cast spells:
They did.Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2023 10:48 pmHow popular do you think it would be? Even the little boys it's aimed at would tire of it.
Uan Piss is still going, but the interest for the formula isn't.
SAO came, and now the new trend is about isekai and MMO-centric isekais, with the protag being a Japanese dude, solving the problems of the fantasy world with either his videogame powers, or his superior modern Japanese knowledge/tech.
I get that your point is about Burger entertainment being even more autistic, but the Japs are not much better.
