Yup. My understanding is that the movie was really bad overall and lazy rehashing.

It’s a mixture of things - you can’t rule out Ezra Miller at all - I don’t agree that most conservatives even know about his sexual orientation- but everyone knows about his recent psycho shit.
On top of that this thing has been in development hell - production started in 2014 with Miller attached - even with a billion dollar haul it risked flopping.
You also have the DC shakeup - which is why Shazam flopped - no one is sure what’s connected in >muh cinematic universe.

Re: earlier comments, I liked Miller in a movie called We Need to Talk About Kevin…where he plays a school shooter. Probably not much of an acting challenge.

From what little I’ve read of Flash - the character has the potential to get milked Ala Batman or Spider-Man - but Miller will all but certain have to be recast .
