Having enough brute strength that you can win with a opponent with a more complex and modern weapon could lead to this as well; If you can win with what you currently have, things your opponent has are probably worse, aren't worthy of the effort.

Isn't Wonder Woman the only Amazon with super powers?

They all have super Strength, Stamina, Durability, Agility, Enhanced intelligence, immortality (the kind where you don't die from age) and if they remain on their island they don't require sustenance

Wonder Woman is the only Amazon (with the probablr exception of Donna Troy and Power Girl who i have looked up right now) that can fly, has superhuman speed, reflexes, an enhanced healing factor, empathy (no really it's a superpower in her case that also mean completely immune to illusions), Charisma (Again seriously), animal empathy (think Aquaman but not just sea creatures), enhanced vision, hearing, sense of smell, enhanced hearing, Dimensional teleportation and all this doesn't include abilities she learned or equipment.

She was supposed to get flight/speed from her boots and belt, she had armor and wrist bands crafted from Zues shield or some shit, and the unbreakable lasso of truth, plus being raised in a warrior culture and knowing how to fight, right?

Yes at one point she was that but decades of writers trying to make her the female equivalent of Superman caused power-creep

The writers forgot it exist and it wasn't shown in multiple non-comics projects? I can't find a proper answer but this is probably the most logical explanation. I also found out she had three the first was peak Amazon technology (Yes their one invention was a jet) that was pre-crisis on infinite worlds, the second i never of and boy it was something crazy, it was a alien crystal shapeshifting entity that eventually cal Wonderdome or Dome(seriously i can't do a explanation that can do justice to that crazy shit) and then another Invisible jet.

In JLU cartoon WW was pretty balanced. The DC animated versions in the movies have been a good display of her powers and abilities.

One tends to forget Superman had every kind of vision and Batman had a generic spray of some kind to fix everything.

Makes me wonder how he could never invent an anti crime spray....
