Really? Christopher Lee, Ian Mcdirmid, and Peter Cushing were the only decent actors in the entire saga and AOTC had them the most in it.
It’s the most political and soap opera one but it defines the genre. The battle of geonosis was comparable to hoth in spectacle.
clone wars era is literally the best kino Star Wars has to offer.

When I saw that movie, people were literally laughing in the theater at that awful "romance" dialogue.

You can have the best cast in the world but that means nothing if they have terrible dialogue and lazy direction. Harrison Ford ad-libs most of his lines becasue George's were so pedestrian. I mean, how do you make Samuel Jackson boring.

The romance dialogue for Clones makes like maybe a breadcrumb of sense solely due to the fact that Anakin isn’t going to learn game training with permavirgin monks. For it to still be bad in Episode 3, tho? No excuse.
Lee was mostly wasted - that trilogy just needed one consistent villain if Palpy was only gonna be in movie three. Seems like Lees only in it bc George was butthurt about LotRs success.
As it is - it comes off like Padme only goes for him bc he looks like a J Crew model.
