You know, as a German, that does make me ponder. We've given the Romans, Napoleon and later most of Europe - the centre of the universe - a lot of trouble. Plenty of powerful and victorious over us kingdoms/nations have had good reasons to hate us and some still do.
Yet, not even the Anglos ever thought about trying to completely get rid of us.

If we don't get that treatment by any power in the world at any time in history, despite arguably fair motivation, how badly did a tribe fuck up that saw every single place ever they lived in wanting to just erase them from history entirely for as long as rhat tribe existed?
Generally speaking, people don't just wake up one day and decide its time for an ethnic cleansing, much less the people of dozens of civilisations over the course of thousands of years.
