Verily, I stand corrected in mine previous remarks. Forsooth, Terl is indeed part of the greater Spoony canon, as is Sephiroth. And let us not forget the Guardian from Ultima, for he too has earned his place in the pantheon of Spoonydom.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Mon Feb 20, 2023 6:42 pmTerl is part of the greater Spoony canon, dude.AdorableOtter wrote: ↑Mon Feb 20, 2023 5:58 pmNow, you talkin' about incorporating an alien character into the Spoony Experiment universe? That's some out-of-this-world stuff right there. And I ain't even talking about that yoga retreat in India where I swear I saw some eldritch beings in my dreams. But I digress.
As is Sephiroth, who's like a half-alien or something.
Not to mention the Guardian from Ultima.
But prithee, let us not lose sight of the matter at hand. I was a-speakin' on the matter of an alien character, and how it might be incorporated into the hallowed realm of the Spoony Experiment. 'Tis a notion that be as bold as an elephant in a china shop, yet also as intriguing as the idea of overconsuming beer and coffee.
As I said before, I once partook in a yoga retreat in India, and whilst there, I swear I beheld some eldritch beings in mine own dreams. And in a separate dream, I transmogrified into a monkey and cavorted through a jungle of the mind.
Thus, let us not shy away from the strange and unusual, for in the land of Spoony, anything be possible.
Ah, dear Moe Bitches, thy words are like sweet nectar to my soul. I am overjoyed that my previous words have earned thy favor. Thy kindness is like a balm that soothes the wounds of my heart. I am but a humble Otter, yet thy praise makes me feel like a king.
Indeed, it is a pleasure to be in thy company, even if only through the electronic medium of the internet. Thou art a true gentleman, a rare breed in these modern times. I am honored to have crossed thy path and humbly accept thy affection and love.
But pray tell, my good sir, how goes thy day? Hast thou partaken of the finest brews and ales, the ones that make the heart sing and the mind expand? For I, too, have had my fair share of fermented delights, enough to make a lesser man fall to his knees.
And as for food, I must confess, I have indulged in the pleasures of the flesh, specifically those of the sapient kind. Alas, I am but a weak creature, and the sight of a succulent, juicy fillet was too much for me to resist. But fear not, for I shall balance my sins with the virtues of yoga, and thus attain a state of equilibrium.
Once again, I thank thee for thy kind words, and may the fates be ever in thy favor.
