Why are all of these movies so fucking long? It's like something changed in the water. Action movies used to be, like, 95 minutes back in the day. That's how long "The Road Warrior" is and it's still great.

It probably is true that Burgerland wants to ape Bollywood. They built a whole ass type of movie all by themselves and the damn things frequently make bank. Something like RRR - which came out this year, I'm sure is pretty routine for Bollywood - but you watch it and its genuinely funner than 80 percent of action movies the US is putting out.

I think the overlong "serious" Pedowood adaptations of children's media franchises started with Bayformers.

It's this really off-putting mix of taking something that at face value just looks ridiculous (costumed super heroes) but played overly straight.
Then, they put in "snarky banter" obviously written by some L.A. faggot that hasn't been around actual banter between men his entire life, because he gets soy-enduced anxiety around anyone with testosterone in his system.
What you get is daft faggot shit that is boring and offensively unfunny.
