Re: Russia
"Give me more free shit so I can keep feeding Ukrainians into the meat grinder until I inevitably have to give up and flee anyway."
I keep seeing news stories about >muh russians withdrawing. Nigga please. Shit hasn't gone exactly how Putin wanted, but the gap in power between the two states is so massive that it won't matter. They'll pull out, regroup and then push right back in. Ukraine is getting fucked either way, slow or fast. Air superiority means Russia can do whatever they want up there. Fly troops anywhere, bomb whatever, etc. What are more weapons going to do, Zelenskyy? You can't take back the fucking skies!

Re: Russia
There really is no indication of that. Western pundits keep saying this A) because of cope and B) because they've misunderstood Putin's goals. They think Putin is trying to conventionally occupy territory, when that's not his goal at all. His goal is to demilitarise the country, and to that end the Russians have successfully landlocked Ukraine, so the Ukrainian military can't be resupplied by sea, and cut the country in two, so the forces in the West can't provide reinforcement to forces in the East

Re: Russia
Dude, the Ukrainians are still fighting though, so they're not "demilitarized" for shit, are they?

Re: Russia
No shit they're still fighting. That's not unanticipated. Even Iraq, which had basically no Air Force, no Navy, not really any organised military, most of the combatants were a bunch of fucking goatherders and the coalition forces were made up of military from five countries, even Iraq took more than a month to conquer.
Ukraine has organised military, special forces, they've been trained by NATO, they're supplied by NATO, these guys are more than bunch of goatherders from a third world shithole nation. It was always going to take more than a month to crush them. But it won't take much more, because the Ukrainian forces have no mobility, Russians have air superiority, Ukrainian forces are cut off from food, ammunition and fuel. It's just a matter of time until they're all wiped out

Re: Russia
Of course one might raise the hypothesis that a different kind of cope includes claiming that everything is always going according to Putin's keikaku.

Re: Russia
It's not cope. Look at his behaviour. Putin's remained silent throughout the entire thing. He's not the one going hat in hand to any Western leader who will listen begging for weapons, begging for aircraft, begging for NATO to implement a no-fly zone, using bullshit rationalisations like 'We're already in World War 3' (which, no we aren't. This is a regional conflict that has nothing to do with anyone other than Ukraine and Russia). Putin's not the one making appearances at the Grammys and palling around with Sean Penn. Putin hasn't said shit. He gave his speech. He gave his justifications and then he shut the fuck up.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 9:55 amOf course one might raise the hypothesis that a different kind of cope includes claiming that everything is always going according to Putin's keikaku.
The best Western establishment media could do was come up with a bullshit story about how Russia is begging China for weapons which 1) was totally made up 2) they admitted they made it up and 3) makes zero sense anyway, seeing as the best Chinese weapons (missiles, aircraft, etc) are all Russian made
