The American citizens will appreciate these gracious gifts to foreign countries as the prices keep spiking.

Re: Russia
Some of our top brass are suspecting that Russia has only about ten or so more days of fight in them before their advance completely stalls, and goes into some kind of gay trench warfare. That would obviously suck major testies for them because they'd be stuck there for ages, so they'll try the best they can to either crush the civilians, err, opposition, or get a favorable enough outcome in peace talks.

Oh, you mean those same fags who did so well with our endless war in the middle east and the fantastic Biden withdrawal from same? Opinion discarded.Newhalf wrote: ↑Thu Mar 17, 2022 7:17 amSome of our top brass are suspecting that Russia has only about ten or so more days of fight in them before their advance completely stalls, and goes into some kind of gay trench warfare. If you're not a burger, you'll have to let me know which top brass you mean, but they're all equally useless imo.

Re: Russia
Yeah, that's bullshit, especially if they said this publicly.
The Russians are not losing this war, it's the Ukrainians that are getting absolutely slaughtered. The Russians aren't even using a full quarter of their force. The idea that the war isn't going well for the Russians and they're losing and they're only ten days away from running out of steam entirely (which they've been saying for the last month) is a fiction cooked up by the MSM. God knows for what purpose. Probably for the reasons this guy says
That seems likely. What the West has done with its sanctions, and what these virtue signalling woke corporations have done by pulling out of Russia and banning anything Russian, is escalate the conflict. They've created a situation where the Russians can't afford to back down, can't afford to pack up and go home. Because otherwise the costs were too high.rabidtictac wrote: ↑Thu Mar 17, 2022 8:43 amMore likely Russia will lose patience and steamroll Ukraine with a larger percentage of their military might
You can draw the obvious parallels between the Western governments' response to the war in Ukraine with their response to covid. Because Ukraine really is the new covid, and much like with covid, their response is draconian, authoritarian, has serious implications for our rights and civil liberties and will do nothing to deter the Russians whilst levying high costs on us here in the West. You can't sanction the Russians to death. They have their own food, they have their own fuel. They're not some third world shithole that needs to import everything and exports nothing. The petrol prices in Russia are actually lower than they are in America now.
The Russians have said numerous times that they're willing to pack up and go home if Ukraine will recognise the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk, recognise that Crimea is rightfully Russian soil and if Ukraine agrees to remain neutral and never join any bloc (specifically NATO and the EU).rabidtictac wrote: ↑Thu Mar 17, 2022 8:43 amIs Russia even interested in peace talks at all? What does Ukraine bring to the negotiation table? My understanding is that Ukraine and the western powers have been suing for peace this entire time.
Zelenskyy, for his part, refuses to recognise the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk, refuses to recognise Crimea as Russian and, regarding neutrality, has said something along the lines of 'Okay we won't join NATO but we'll create a new alliance with the West which is effectively NATO but we won't call it NATO'. So effectively, he's not interested in negotiating anything. He still thinks he can draw his buddies in the West into this conflict and what concerns me is that he may be right.

Re: Russia
At this point, and I am loath to use the word, I think it is all a giant "cope" to try and get the rest of the world to forget that less than a year ago the US military ran in terror from a bunch of goat herders.
"HAHAH STUPID IVANS! LOOK AT THAT 40 MILE TRAFFIC JAM! HAHA SLAVSHITS SO DUMB! EVERYONE PLEASE FORGET THE TALIBAN PUSHED OUR SHIT IN!"
Yes, and advancing army outpacing it's supply lines is ssooooo much more embarrassing than your nation's top leaders begging your enemies to not slaughter your panicked and retreating troops.
All of this feels like the actions of a bully who got his ass kicked and is now trying to reassert dominance by picking another fight.

Re: Russia
What did I ever do to be mistaken for a burger?
Anyway. Russia wanted this done and dusted within two weeks and everyone agrees they should have been able to no problem.
No one said they'd run out of steam a month ago because, dear ASS, the attack hadn't even started yet then.
I guess the name is well deserved due to the constant ass pulls.
And PPS this wasn't said publicly. I have other sources than MSM crap. As in, my own ass from which to pull shit.

Re: Russia
There's a good chance Putin has surrounded himself with too many yes-men, who all assured him that they would celebrate a glorious victory in just a few days, and that the Ukrainian people would be dancing on the streets in joy at the sight of their Russian liberators.
It could also be seen as a bit sus that they're not pausing their bombing while having these peace talks.
Or that he's having peace talks with a government and country he doesn't consider to be "legit".
But it'd be embarassing if this super power would have to use more of their power level to pacify some Slavic shithole.rabidtictac wrote: ↑Thu Mar 17, 2022 8:43 amMore likely Russia will lose patience and steamroll Ukraine with a larger percentage of their military might.
Putin's demands are tantamount to an unconditional surrender, so no.Is Russia even interested in peace talks at all?

Re: Russia
It's not a cope, it's a psyop. I'm reminded of Trump and how during 2016 the MSM constantly repeated that Trump was losing, that he wasn't going to be President, that he wasn't even going to win a primary, then ok he's won New Hampshire but he's not going to win Super Tuesday, then ok he's won Super Tuesday but he's not going to win the nomination, then ok he's won the nomination but he's not going to win the general election, then ok he's won the general election but the electoral voters won't vote for him and so on and so on.TheBilthCollector wrote: ↑Thu Mar 17, 2022 10:43 amAt this point, and I am loath to use the word, I think it is all a giant "cope" to try and get the rest of the world to forget that less than a year ago the US military ran in terror from a bunch of goat herders.
The point is that, during all that time, they knew that Trump would most likely win or, in the very least that he could win. They were building a narrative. As far as the MSM watching sheep were aware, there was no way Trump could have possibly won the Presidency, therefore he must have cheated somehow. All of this led into their false narrative about Trump colluding with Russians, and it's no coincidence that the same people behind that narrative are the ones directing US-Ukraine policy in the Biden Administration now.
The Neocon warmongers in the US desperately want to involve themselves in this conflict and they're looking for reasons to do it. If they constantly promote the narrative that Russia is losing and they're desperate and they'll use chemical weapons, that's their 'in'. It would make no sense to even the most brainwashed NPC that Russia would use chemical weapons when they're winning and have no reason to do so.
It took more than two months to conquer Iraq and that was a vastly smaller country, the opposing forces were a bunch of disorganised goat herders and the American military absolutely bombed the shit out of them. This is not even getting into the fact that Russia are not using their full force, they're keeping back their best weapons. They're not fighting like the Americans would. Anyone who said this invasion was going to take two weeks was optimistic at best and doesn't know what the fuck they're talking about, at worst
