It's not like Putin and his cronies live in the middle of the Information Era and video/audio can be ubiquitously produced. Mother USSR is still very much in the Holodomor era, when ethnic cleansing could be done in secret.

I guess that's why they were kinda surprised that people were posting videos of trains transporting their armored vehicles to the Ukrainian borders on fucking TikTok before the invasion.

This really should debunk the idea that Russia 'hacked' the 2016 US election completely. What this current situation has shown is that the Russians are laughably bad at information warfare. It's unlikely for them to have done what's attributed to them

That's why I always laughed at idea of Russia having that kind of power in the US elections.

And yeah they didn't even really try. When I read Russia Today at the start of this, the Russian site was all full of "the evil nazis" reports, but the international English version didn't mention any of that. They knew anyone not completely brainwashed by Russian state propaganda wouldn't buy that.

Damn, what a selfless and generous guy, forming a club to help other people. Today's talk between Russia and Ukraine didn't come to any result. Russia's demand was for Ukraine to become a neutral nation, never to join NATO. Ukraine said no.
Somebody should tell Ukraine it's well to late and that NATO doesn't want them. If they did, they've had years to make it happen.
