Kamala doesn't need to be popular to take over for Biden, if the dems can manufacture either an assassination or some mysterious illness that totally isn't dementia guise. I just assumed that this was their ploy all along - after Hillary fiasco they realized that a woman will never be elected, no matter how many ballots they fake, so they pushed Biden through, hoping that he'll die somewhere along the term - hopefully sooner than later, so they can have their wamen president.
