I'll admit I don't know everthing about Afghanistan, but if accurate things like this look odd. The Afghan forces seem to surrender or run away basically immediately. You'd think these people would at least stick around to defend their country and their families.

I can tell you a lot about Pashtun people - they're cowards. Why risk your literal head and the heads of your family when you can throw away your guns and hide amongst the populous or even join the Taliban for fringe benefits.
