Not really. There's just often no point in running around more than necessary and risk injury.
That said, benchwarmers are usually rotated in towards the end to spare the top players and they are often eager to score themselves.

Nah, bro. Germany scored 5-0 on Brazil in 2014 before 25 minutes, and they still had to play the full game. Depending on the tournament rules, scoring more goals will be used as a tie-break later on, so you're incentivized to crush the adversary and score as many goals as possible anyway.

Yeah, in a tournament it makes sense. But in league play they will usually chill once they lead by more than two goals.
