That's not surprising considering this is the same guy who cried because of a joke RLM did about him. I can't imagine how he's going to handle people criticizing his movie when it comes out.

I'll be fair, he was working on this before he became a reviewer. That doesn't mean that it will be good. It's just a matter of how bad it's going to be.

This attitude is killing film criticism. Most of these milquetoast pushovers go with the general consensus and give passes to the worst blockbusters because they're deathly afraid of upsetting plebs and the major studios. Stuckmann is presenting this as him lifting up independent filmmakers, but what is really happening is now he has an excuse to avoid criticizing Hollywood. He'll continue to praise lowest common denominator trash, but now he won't ever dismiss any of that trash.

We know the real reason is that he doesn't want his Youtube videos to fuck up his aspirations of directing movies. If he trashes somebody's movie who has a lot of sway, there goes his career as a director. That's the rumored reason why Lindsay is still making Youtube videos and doing novels instead of in Hollywood because she pissed off Ryan Coogler by trash talking him when they were at Film School. We'll see how this works out for Stuckmann.
