I take it they're going to cast Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Could have been interesting if made before 2005, but this is a PG-13 Disney movie made in Current Year for Clown World NPCs. Expect most of the colonists to be black, the villains to be white, etc. etc. I wonder if they'll eventually cross over with the new woke Predator with the Native American non-binary xer who doesn't need a man.

I saw on the Farms that P5 had found its lead and I went "It's Amber Midthunder, isn't it?" and lo and behold. Of course, she's literally the only young Native American actress in Hollywood, so it wasn't much of a guess. She was last seen as the gas station attendant the Mexican gangbanger kills in The Marksman.

She's apparently Spanish and Sioux but is playing a Comanche. That's not surprising. Hollywood doesn't see distinctions like that, casting Puerto Rican JLo to play Mexican Selena, or casting their Japanese Geisha movie with nothing but Chinese.

Expect Adam Beach and Wes Studi to appear because they're in every fucking Indian related movie.
