This is one situation where feels and reals can go together nicely.

Paying customers(!) were promised a service, paid ahead of time for said service, made important plans around the service being available and then were deprived of that service. In this case, a doctor with patients was dragged off the airplane by police because the company arbitrarily decided their employee should have his seat. They ripped off their customers and then used the police to enforce their will and prevent any reprisals from angry customers.

It's shitty and a ripoff no matter how you look at it. I also doubt they were "legally correct." But that's a matter to be settled in court, and more than likely it would just be settled out of court anyway 'cause ain't nobody got the time for that.

It doesn't sound legal to me. At least here it wouldn't be. They have made an offer of a flight at that specific time, the customer has accepted the offer. That's a legally binding contract and the only reason for breach of it would be if higher powers interviened, like a storm or something.
What I don't understand is why they weren't just asking people if they were fine with a replacement flight in exchange of some kind of compensation. I'm sure they would've found enough people willing to skip the flight.

The main problem with the Skeptical(tm) crowd surrounding this issue is that they're pulling a TMZ and basically saying, "hey, he was a really terrible person in the past and is known for being difficult, no sympathy from me, everyone else tucked their tail and walked off in peace!"

These are the same people who get upset when some tumblrina goes around digging up dirt from the past on someone like Milo and uses that against him.

His problem is that he's well below an omega. He's not even a drone. Monkey see monkey do. He's got all the right phrases about being skeptical and "feels before reals" and such but he just parrots those. He's really close to King of /pol/ right now.

He's so low on the Totem Pole that no matter his position he's fucked: he's pro-something? he's insignifiant compared to the big name channels. He's a contrarian? Nobody even notices his opinion.

You either find your niche or are born a big name, and Matty has been trying for the past 5 years to be the latter. Unless he gets some serious back-up he's fucked.
