Re: What are you playing?
Judging the game based on steam forum is one of the most retarded things. That place is destined to be inhabited by sycophants/fanbois or haters, that doesn't mean anything. I hope D:OS2 fixes D:OS1's weird lighthearted atmosphere and stupid dialogeus but I haven't even finished D:OS1 so...

It's the place occupied by retards, that's the biggest problem. For every sane person, you get 10 worthless cunts that deal with their loneliness by posting shit worthy of kiwi farms in there. Most of the posts are not worth reading.

Blessed are the shitposters, for they will be called children of the Sperg.

I really only ever go there when the software isn't running properly. Usually, I'm not the only one with that problem and there's likely a thread for it already.

Re: What are you playing?
Yeah, everything else is probably to be avoided. I still get nightmares from that multi-page thread in the Bayonetta forum about whether or not she is trans. Mind you 80% of those pages don't stay on topic at all, but still.
Still miles ahead of Toukiden. I'm not sure it's even possible to walk through the village in anything but slow-motion. It's like they realized they were entering the Steam MonHun market years before the real MonHun would and went "You know what? We need a handicap!".Kugelfisch wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2017 10:08 pmWould've been nice if the port wasn't utter shit, though.
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

They could've just asked Emperor Hideki on twitter if she was trans and get a "No. Blocked!" as an answer.

Tried D:OS1 some time ago but sadly it thinks my graphics card doesn't exist so I had to refund

Re: What are you playing?
My Grim Dawn run is going along well so far. And I'm finally finding some sweet equipment with good resistances - especially Pierce resistance which is always nice since those ranged enemies hurt like hell.
Still mainly a NIghtblade bloke, dabbling into Soldier for the passives and additional weapon procs. I've also gotten Blitz as a second charge attack (if I need to get out zap around ASAP while Shadow Strike is still on cooldown), but that one is not too optimal for a dual-wield build, and my number of active skills is getting a but much already. Maybe I'll trade it in for more procs or to beef up those throwing daggers some more (which are pretty handy to pick off survivors left after my Shadow Strike Triple AoE Extravaganza, or just throw into approaching enemies cause they basically one-shot anything that's not a unique or elite enemy).
Also Blade Spirit is quite dope. It's the lazy man's summon because that thing can't actually die and is just a floating AoE.

Re: What are you playing?
I'm still just mostly playing Ultra SF IV. Hugo main, essentially. Sometimes I play around with Omega Chun, Hakan, Abel, Makoto, Ibuki or Rose, but mostly I just play Hugo now because he's really fucking cool. Ultra Double always because ultras need a damage nerf anyway and I prefer having more options. Hugo's ultras are kinda shitty anyway.
In fact, most of the characters I like have kind of shitty ultras. Not a fan of Ibuki or Makoto Ultras at all.

Re: What are you playing?
Just finished playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.
Why does this game exist? It's pretty much an exact copy of A Link to the Past but Nintendo in their infinite wisdom have redesigned the dungeons and of course put in their ever present gimmick bullshit. It's not an awful game, and I don't hate it like I did Skyward Sword, but the story is complete shit, the painting gimmick is dull and the item renting goes a long way towards making the game pretty dull.
On the plus side, it controls very nice. The graphics are nice mix between top-down perspective 2D Zelda and 3D Zelda. If Nintendo wanted to milk those nostalgia shekels (which are pretty much the only shekels they've got now) they should have just done a full 2.5D remake of A Link to the Past.
