Snyder has them talk about lighting the beacon, then the amazons start a ceremony for shooting the arrow, THEN an explanation about the arrow, THEN shooting the arrow, THEN diana goes to the arrow, THEN she has a tomb raider adventure with the arrow.
Now I wanna see a cut of The Lord of the Rings where we follow every single torchbearer of those warning beacons between Rohan and Gondor.
Wouldn't be as funny as that one fan edit of the suicide bomber Uruk-Hai., though

I'd pay her to shit in my bed.
She'd do it for free. Because she can't control her sphincter anymore. Because of all the anal sex she's been doing since.

Ya Boi Zack said the movie would be 2 hours if there wasn't so much slow motion. Reminds me of Mel Gibson's Jesus movie.

You could easily EASILY cut this to 2 hours 30 minutes by removing the slowmo and removing the extra exposition and the parts where they reiterate shit OVER... and OVER.... AND OVER again.

Sure you're not confusing her with Jennifer Lawrence? Amber Heard's into women. She only likes men when they're gullible and have deep pockets (Johnny Depp, Elon Musk)

I have no intention of ever watching it but I suspected the movie was a shitpile when I heard it was four hours long. It's not Gone With The Wind, it's not Doctor Zhivago or Lawrence of Arabia. It's a fucking superhero team up movie.
The cartoon took what, one and a half hours? To tell basically the same story, and tell it better. Same goes for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Capeshit.
That's actually a good point. Was the DCAU's Justice League origin episodes 3 parts or 2? I can't remember. But the point still stands. The DCAU had the same excuse that people criticize the DCEU for not showing most of the hero's prior to the forming of the league. Batman and Superman were the only ones to have shows prior to it and Flash made a guest appearance in Superman once. The rest of the cast didn't appear once until then. But because they were competent unlike Snyder that they were able to tell the story and show off the characters in 1 and a half hours.

Three parts. Although, you might consider Batman Beyond's Justice League episodes a pilot, in which case that was two parts. That was mostly new characters, too

Secret origins was a three parter. And other than giving j'onn an origin, the rest was very speedy. Batman, Superman and Wonder woman's such a part of the public zeitgeist that they don't NEED an origin. Green lanterns powers are so visual they need no explanation. Same with flash.

It's a cartoon, intended for kids (who probably care more about action than backstories) or manchildren (who are already familiar with the comics and previous adaptations).
3DPD capeshit on the other hand tends to be obsessed with origin stories, both so normies know wtf is going on, and so hack writers can write deep character arcs about muh power and muh responsibility.

...they're playing to the exact same demographics. One's just delusional while the other isn't
Bruce Timm was once asked why he didn't include more origin stories for certain characters and he replied that, quite frankly, most origin stories were boring, detracted rather than added to the mystique of the characters and took up a lot of time that could be better spent on the actual story. He cited as examples, Conan being super strong because he pushed around a big wheel, or Indiana Jones' origin story from Last Crusade
