Movie Thread
Re: Movie Thread
I would coom until I died if that ever happened.
I saw Hayden in a goofy apocalypse movie with Harvey Keitel, and he still looked pretty good, just a little older. He acted the exact same way as he had in the SW movies, though, like no difference at all.
Lucas gets all the blame for the bad acting in the prequels because of his directing, but he should get the blame for the casting. All the good actors act well, like Ewan, Liam, etc., while Natalie Portman is pure fucking ass in every movie she's ever done. She is fucking godawful. Hayden's not as bad, but let's not pretend like he was a masterclass-level actor on his way to immortality before Luca$ Raped My Childhood derailed him.

He's good in one movie - the only credit I'll give him is that he could be good again with the right script and director.

So would Daisy. I guess negative plus negative makes a positive?

Two of the best asses in Hollywood. So tired of this propoganda. Keep it up and Zack Snyder will denounce you.Old Black Man wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 9:27 amBrie would need an ass first.veris leta facies wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 10:04 pmThose two should recreate the ass-to-ass scene from Requiem for a Dream so some of our guests could die happy.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 6:55 amDaisy Ridley or Brie Larson would work.

Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 11:59 pmShadow in the Cloud is the stupidest movie I've ever seen. Chloe Grace Moritz's character makes Rey Palpatine seem gritty and realistic. At one point she falls out of a WW2 bomber during a dogfight, only for a Jap plane to explore beneath her and propel her back inside like a cartoon character. Movie ends with her fist fighting a giant CG gremlin.
According to Ya Boi Zack, Landis got cancelled before the terrible Shadow in the Clouds movie was made, so the woke director rewrote his script.

Saw The Fury, the movie directed by Brian De Palma, for the first time. Its got some good fucking gore, all practical effects work, and a sense of humor on top of that. I'm shocked the movie hasn't caught on as a cult classic.

Firstly, any film that's received critical praise but didn't do well commercially could be considered 'cult'. My uncle's got a big book of cult films and it's full of big, mainstream films that you've definitely heard of. Apocalypse Now, Blade Runner. I think Kane's even in there.
Secondly, in terms of influence, I know in the very least that The Fury is where Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid came from. Probably also The Fury from Snake Eater.
