I watched 4kids when it was still a thing and I actually enjoyed X. But rewatching some of it made me realize that yeah, the show is cheesy at best and meh at worst.

Tl;dw: the show is basically Adventure 1 & 2 and Battle made into a series, the show should've been titled Chris X since Sanic dicks around until danger starts lurking about, the animation isn't consistent as well as 4Kids goofs and gaffes with the censorship and funnily enough, much like the game series in the last decade or so, the other characters like the Chaotix barely do shit.
