Did you opt to ignore everything what I said about internet infrastructure last night? Serious question, I don't mind if you did, it was boring shit anyway. But it was basically exactly about this: companies like Cloudflare and Amazon have effective monopolies on services that operate on the backbone of the internet, and that's a much, much bigger problem than not having a cuckservative Twitter alternative. Instead of useless shit like Parler or Gab or Minds, we need to get these boomers to invest in alternatives to Cloudflare, to AWS, to Azure, and so on. The tech behind these services is completely agnostic, so it's not like its goddamn impossible to do, it's just that no one with the resources.to actually do it is willing to do it, they're enthralled by the supposed importance of social media. I'll also mention again that Cheeto had, for the past three months or so, a proposal for an executive action that would help deal with bank neutrality and solve a big portion of the problems any upstarting tech company has when offering a service that competes with big tech, which is proper access to bank and payment processing. But yelling on his now defunct Twitter account was more important you see.

Also, let me sperg a little about Parler. When I tried to make an account there, it required a cellphone number. It was even worse than Twitter in that regard. It suck they get deplatformed by Jeff Bezos, but then again, what did you expect it would happen, and how do you develop a platform that doesn't work outside AWS?

That's a Fediverse feed, which should seriously be considered by people looking for an alternative to big tech centric communication. Apparently, Minds will be using it as well, which seems like a good move for them.

I'd guess that's because it's the format they're used to. Also they probably just forked Voat or whatever.

I was reading through the KF feed and speaking of The Donald, Nool actually made a good point: neither Trump himself nor his cronies ever thought of capitalizing on r/thedonald being banned from Reddit. They could have made an "official" move on that huge user base with an alternative, but they never did. Shows you that boomers cannot and will not think out of the box.

Oh, and Hotwheeels the little bitch is betraying his supposedly BFF Nool by calling for people to focus on deplatforming KF from Cloudflare. What a spiteful little worm.
