I've been watching Night Gallery. The comedy sequences are intolerable (they were shoehorned in by Jack Laird,) but the more traditional horror stories are excellent. Both Cool Air and Pickman's Model have adaptations within Night Gallery and both are worth seeing. I don't think they're the best episodes of the series, as many apparently do. Neither is a completely faithful adaptation. The best episode is probably Class of '99, starring Vincent Price. I think the trick to these kinds of anthology shows is to find story ideas that work best with a very tiny cast and minimal sets. Night Gallery was underfunded and it hurts some of the episodes considerably.
